How to partner with DCBC

We are asking people within our congregation to consider what they can contribute to this first stage of building. This will involve seeking the Lord and making plans for how the donation is to be made.

Options- choose one or more of the following

Option 1

This option provides the opportunity to make a commitment as a ‘one off’ gift.

Option 2

This option allows you to set up an automatic payment at what ever frequency you desire to spread what you want to give over the course of the year.

Option 3

This option provides the opportunity to offer your time and skills by taking on a fund raising venture outside of DCBC. For example, you might have a fundraising idea and pledge to do that this year. Alternatively, you could sign up to be a fundraiser and work with others on their ventures.

Other Options

We realise that some people have been preparing to make a contribution to the building project for some years. If you would like to give over a different term or in another way please contact Mike Simpson at the DCBC office.

Tax rebates:

An IRD tax rebate is able to be claimed on all financial contributions. We will be issuing all those who make a donation with a number by which we can track money donated and issue a receipt for tax rebate purposes.

Next steps

Having prayed about your financial contribution to the building project and having considered wisely your current financial position what are your next steps?

Step 1: Decide how much you are prepared to commit to in terms of money (Options 1 and 2) and/or time (Option 3).

Step 2: Decide which option or options you will select.

Step 3: Request a our pledge form, complete it and send it off to us. Contact mike@dcbc.co.nz for the form.

Got a Question?

You can contact Mike Simpson (DCBC treasurer) or Helen Geddes (leading the building finance team) at the DCBC offices (office@dcc.co.nz) with your questions.
