Membership Course
The next membership course is planned for July. We're still sorting out the date and venue but will keep you posted here and in the newsletter.
Membership courses are designed so that you can find out how to become a participating member of DCBC. In a large church like DCBC with a long proud history and strong sense of vision it is important to understand the structure and direction if you are to find where you fit in.
Membership courses are run by various members of the leadership team (the Pastoral staff) and are designed to explain our vision and what we are committed to. You'll learn about where we have come from, where we are going and the way we intend to get there. We'll explain what we believe, the way in which we operate, the values we hold dear, and we'll talk about the opportunities for spiritual growth, service and outreach. They are very relaxed with plenty of discussion and interaction.
Membership courses are a great first step to finding your home in our church and if we haven't met already we look forward to being introduced at the next course.
