Why serve? Why volunteer?

Serving is a great way to become more connected, grow as a Christian disciple and develop deeper relationships with others as you work alongside them. 

Jesus  taught and modeled servant hearted leadership throughout his life and one of his last lessions for his disciples was a supreme example of humility and service - washing the disciples feet (at the last supper- see John 13:13-17). Furthermore, the New Testament has many exhortations for believers to use their gifts to build up the church family and serve their community (“For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.”  see Ephesians 2:10).

Our goal is that through serving you discover your God-given fit using the interests, gifts and abilities that He has given you to make an impact within the body of Christ (the Church) and beyond!
