Making a donation to DCBC

Step 1: Request a donation number

DCBC is a registered charity and so if you have a taxable income you can get a 1/3 rebate from Inland Revenue on your giving to DCBC. However, for a rebate to be given you will need a donation or offering number so that the church treasurer can keep a confidential record of your donations.

To receive a donation number fill in the form below (include the address details for where we should send your tax receipt at the end of the financial year).

Once you have the number, make sure all donations to DCBC are clearly identified with that number (either as a reference on internet payments or on an envelope for giving within DCBC services). In mid April we will send you a receipt for all your donations. This can then be used to claim your rebate from the New Zealand Inland Revenue Department. Instructions for doing this are sent with the receipt.

Step 2: Decide what you are going to give and where you want it to go.

You can give towards our NZ Mission work, International Mission work, Care Fund or Building Fund. By default, unless specified, donations will be used for the NZ Mission work.
