Baptism is an important response following the decision to becoming a Christian.

Weddings
There are several people on the leadership team who are available to take weddings. We also offer pre-marriage counselling.

Wanting to dedicate you Child
As a church we want to support parents who are raising chldren, as Jesus' community here on earth. So we invite you to bring your child before Jesus with the support of the DCBC church community and dedicate him/her.
Dedication is a commitment of two parts.
As parents you are:
- thanking God for the gift of your child
- making a promise before God and his people to raise your child in a way that honors God- acknowledging your need for God's help to do this
- surrendering you child to God- recognising that you can never 'own' your child but that you are trustee of a precious gift that God has given you
- asking for God's blessing on your child.
As a church family we are: committing to encourage and support you and your child in their spiritual development. We dedicate children in a special short ceremony within our Sunday morning service so that the whole community can acknowledge this commitment.
