Everyone is Welcome

The Dunedin City Baptist Church community meets regularly to learn about Jesus, pray, worship him, and encourage each other. Dunedin City Baptist provides a great place to encounter God. Our services have a relaxed style and people are warm and friendly. Bible teaching is kept relevant. Worship music is contemporary, and we often make use of drama and other media to help you make connections with the day's topic and get you thinking. We also have fantastic children's programmes running throughout the service.

No matter what your background is or where you are on your spiritual journey, we look forward to you visiting us and discovering for yourself the grace that we've found in Jesus and what it means to become life-long followers of Jesus. Welcome to our church.

Get to know God

The whole purpose of a Christian community is to grow in our faith and support each other. If you want to know more about Jesus, you've come to the right place.

Worship with us

Family friendly services are held each Sunday morning at 10 am, 19 Main South Rd, in Concord.
You are welcome to participate as much as you feel comfortable to do so during our service. There is no pressure to publically respond in any way. Our services are fairly casual, so you don't need to worry about what you are wearing.

Guests are requested not to give money to DCBC in the collection; this is for those who are part of DCBC and want to contribute to its work.

Get to know us

Whether this is your first visit to DCBC or you've been coming for years, it's vital to connect with others. The Christian life was always designed to be lived within Christian community where there can be nurture, support, encouragement and accountability.

There are lots of groups which meet during the week; find one you like the look of and turn up.

Eat with us

Morning tea is available after each service. Approximately once a month we host lunch following the service (gold coin donation). These events are relaxed, are great places to mix and mingle and an opportunity to be warmly welcomed.

Newcomers' lunches are held from time to time, and are a good place to meet the church leaders. Look out for more details in the DCBC newsletter.
